Another week, another round of meaningful wins for the APT Legal team. Whether it’s giving clarity, saving clients from costly mistakes, or making the complex feel a little less daunting, our team continues to deliver real value in real-life situations. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to:
Carrie’s Wins
- Team training that actually worked – Carrie delivered a rewarding session that left the team feeling more confident and aligned. No fluff, just practical insights that strengthened how we support our clients.
- Turning confusion into clarity – After a previous legal representative left a probate client confused and anxious, Carrie stepped in to give the correct advice in a way they actually understood. The relief was instant.
- Stopping a potential disaster – Carrie spotted that a client was about to sign a trust document that wasn’t suitable for their situation. Had they gone ahead, it could have left them exposed — and with a potential tax bill. A timely intervention that made a big difference.
Deb’s Wins
- Teaching with a twist – Deb led a session for a Women’s Institute group, showing how different personalities make decisions and work together. An eye-opener for many, especially when it comes to navigating sensitive topics like Wills and probate.
- Supporting a nervous client – Working with Carrie, Deb helped onboard a client who’d previously handled probate but was terrified of dealing with Inheritance Tax. They’re now feeling reassured and supported every step of the way.
- Helping a business owner untangle a tough situation – Deb gave guidance to someone whose late parents had unintentionally appointed a pair of Will Writers as Trustees to a property. It was a messy situation, but Deb’s calm approach helped bring some much-needed clarity.
