At APT, we believe that looking after our clients starts with investing in our people. Every week, our team continues to learn, grow and deliver results that make a real difference for families and individuals dealing with important life planning decisions. Here’s what we’ve been up to this week.
Carrie has been leading from the front, helping new team members gain confidence and knowledge through shadowing and role-play sessions. She also took on a new complex probate case worth £2.2 million, where delays had caused significant pressure to settle Inheritance Tax within just four months. Her calm approach and expertise are exactly what clients need when faced with tight deadlines and high-value estates. On top of that, Carrie completed further mental health training, ensuring she continues to support clients with empathy and understanding during often sensitive conversations.
Deb has been focused on client care and progress. She’s been checking in with clients who haven’t yet approved their draft Wills, offering to go through them together to make the process easier. She’s also been following up with others waiting to finalise documents or settle invoices, helping keep everything on track. Deb renewed her mental capacity training this week too, which she used as a prompt to remind previous clients about reviewing their Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). It’s a great example of how the team proactively supports clients to keep their legal affairs up to date.
Megan has achieved a major milestone this week by taking Will and LPA instructions on her own for the first time – a big step in her professional development and a reflection of the supportive environment at APT. She’s also been out networking and building relationships, helping even more people learn about the importance of planning ahead. Megan completed the team’s mental capacity training as well, reinforcing how vital LPAs are when it comes to protecting loved ones and making future decisions easier.
Every week, the APT team is driven by one goal: to help people feel confident and supported when dealing with Wills, LPAs and probate. Whether you need guidance, reassurance, or someone to take the weight off your shoulders, we’re here to help.
