With four friendly and approachable client-facing consultants already on the team, and a back office team to support, we pride ourselves on delivering a personal and professional service tailored to each client’s needs. We are now seeking more talented, warm, and professional individuals to join our growing team.

Role Overview:
As a Consultant/Will Writer with APT Legal, you will be the face of our services, working closely with clients to provide advice and create bespoke Wills and estate planning solutions. You’ll have the flexibility of working on a self-employed basis, allowing you to manage your own time while being supported by a dynamic and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting consultations with clients to understand their estate planning needs.
• Passing instructions to head office, who will manage all client drafting in line with client instructions and legal requirements.
• Providing clear and comprehensive advice in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction and trust.
• Staying informed about relevant laws and regulations in estate planning and Will writing.
• Managing your own workload and schedule to deliver excellent service consistently.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in Will writing, legal consultancy, or a related field is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and clarity.
• Self-motivated and organised, capable of managing your time effectively.
• A genuine desire to help clients secure peace of mind through effective estate planning.
• IT proficiency, including familiarity with document management and communication tools.
• Access to your own vehicle and a willingness to travel locally for client consultations.
