Welcome to this week’s edition of APT Legal Weekly Wins. Every week I like to take a moment to recognise the positive steps our team has taken to support clients and strengthen the APT Legal community. Here is what we achieved this week.
Carrie’s Wins:
Connecting with the Community at Waddington Family Day
One of this week’s highlights was attending the Waddington family day. It was a brilliant opportunity to meet local families, answer questions and continue building strong relationships within the community. Events like these remind me why our work matters and how important it is to stay accessible and visible.
Welcoming Jodie into the Office
We also welcomed Jodie into the office so Billie could meet the wider team. Building strong relationships within the business is essential, and it was great to bring everyone together. These small moments help create a supportive and collaborative culture that our clients feel the benefit of.
A Productive Business Trip to London
This week also included a trip to London for a series of one to one meetings. While it was a busy schedule, it was an excellent chance to focus on business development and future planning. I also made the most of being in the city by catching up with an old school friend afterwards, which was a lovely way to end the day.
Deb’s Wins This Week
Deb has also had a productive and impactful week.
She completed a detailed Will review for a couple who had not realised the potential risks to their businesses if one of them died or lost capacity. Her advice has given them clarity and a much stronger foundation for future planning.
Deb also delivered her presentation, “The Weird World of Wills”, to a local networking group. The talk always sparks great discussion and helps raise awareness about the importance of proper planning.
To finish the week, she supported a couple with a particularly complex family arrangement involving children from several previous relationships. With different levels of contact across the family, she helped them work through a fair and considered plan to ensure everyone is provided for.
Another Week Making a Positive Impact
From community engagement to supporting clients with complex family and business planning, this has been a week filled with meaningful progress. I am proud of the work we continue to deliver and grateful for every client who puts their trust in APT Legal.
