It has been another productive and meaningful week for the team. Here is what everyone has been celebrating.
Carrie’s Wins
• Welcomed a brand new referral partner which will help strengthen future relationships.
• Worked with Lindsey to organise Christmas cards, hampers and office closures ready for the festive period.
• Managed to turn around key probate paperwork quickly so it could be sent off before an Executor left for an extended holiday. This means the case can continue to progress while they are away.
Lindsey’s Wins
• Joined forces with Carrie to get Christmas cards and hampers sorted for clients and partners.
• Encouraged Carrie to bring in Christmas decorations so the office can feel festive.
• Completed several three year reviews for existing clients to ensure their Wills still reflect their personal circumstances.
• Thought of her own wins and proudly added them to the list.
Meg’s Wins
• Clearly explained the risks of using a £19.99 online Will which resulted in the client choosing to instruct APT instead.
• Supported a conveyancer whose client had used a £46 online Will that unintentionally created a trust. This had prevented the sale of their property and could have led to a misrepresentation claim. Meg sought guidance from Carrie and helped them navigate the issue.
• Referred new clients to APT to support continued growth.
Deb’s Wins
• Visited a lady who recently lost her life partner and felt unable to begin sorting any paperwork. Deb helped her create a plan, explained her position and signposted her to additional support including counsellors.
• Entered the final weeks of training for her charity stand up comedy gig. It is now officially happening. She is excited and terrified in equal measure. Will she be talking about Wills on stage?
• Completed signings for Business Powers of Attorney which ensures her client’s business can continue running even if he experiences major medical issues.
