Weekly Wins: from the team at APT Legal

This week at APT Legal

Another week has flown by, and once again the team have been busy doing what they do best. Supporting clients, solving problems, and pushing the business forward. It is always worth taking a moment to pause and reflect on the wins, both big and small, because they tell the real story of the work that goes on behind the scenes.

Carrie’s wins

This week included a brilliant outcome for a probate matter, with a missing Will successfully located. That meant the estate could proceed correctly, rather than the family having to deal with the added stress, time and cost of intestacy. It is one of those moments where attention to detail and persistence make a real difference to people at a difficult time.

On the business side, the business plan has now been finalised, giving clarity and direction for the months ahead. Carrie has also been working collaboratively on a joint presentation for landlords, covering legal and tax updates. A great example of bringing professional expertise together to deliver real value.

Meg’s wins

Meg received a lovely Google review from a client, which is always a great reminder that the care and effort put into each case is noticed and appreciated.

She also turned things around incredibly quickly for a client who needed Wills and LPAs completed and signed in under a week, so the documents could be taken to Thailand and signed with her daughter in time. Speed, efficiency and empathy all rolled into one.

Alongside this, it has been a busy week of calls and emails, answering queries and reassuring clients. Often unseen work, but absolutely essential.

Deb’s wins

Deb has been flat out booking a whole host of new appointments, supporting clients referred through a financial adviser she is working closely with.

She also survived a challenging six hour journey to Ayr to deliver training on client communication and appointment skills, followed by another journey and an overnight stay to get to Oban. She is now working remotely from her son’s office, complete with foot warmer, proving that commitment sometimes comes with a sense of humour and a bit of adaptability.

Weeks like this show exactly why teamwork matters. From technical expertise and client care to training, planning and collaboration, it all adds up to better outcomes for the people we help.

On to the next week.
